As of this AM there have been precautionary evacuations issued for the cabin area. The mandatory evacuations are about 2 miles from Lake Madrone

* WPG2 Plugin Not Validated *On Saturday the 14th, our church in Fairfield help their annual Rites of Passage service.
It’s primarily a ceremony for young folks that have recently graduated from high school and are getting ready to take that next big step in their lives and head off to college. But for the little kids, it’s an inclusion in the Village atmosphere (you’ve all heard the African proverb “it takes a village to raise a child…”)

Baby Jo has graduated from kindergarten. Wow – today was an very exciting day.
Jen and I are so very proud of Jordan and are grateful that our families were able to share in this special day.

We’ve finally gotten one of the remaining key endorsements for Obama. John Edwards officially announced today that he is jumping on the Obama Train.

* WPG2 Plugin Not Validated * On Saturday the 10th we did our annual Susan G. Koman Race For A Cure @ Cal Expo. This year it was really nice since my Mom & Dad joined in the tradition.
